ABOUT

Company History

EEDC offers a wealth of experience importing wine and spirits into Asia.

A foundation that began over 25 years ago has paved the way for EEDC’s present success in the industry. During this time, EEDC has kept with its original and primary focus; turning international alcohol brands that are unknown in Asia into familiar house hold names.
With its start in Taiwan, EEDC established itself as one of the first domestic companies to import and establish international wine and spirit brands into, then, developing Asian markets. In Taiwan, EEDC worked with Seagram’s Martell distributing Co. with whom they successfully launched Chivas, Royal Salute, and Martell Cordon Bleu. The last of which was raised from an unknown brand in Taiwan into the leading cognac.

From the beginning EEDC has prided itself as a leader in the industry with the capabilities to adjust to changes and opportunities in the environment. In 2001, EEDC entered Mainland China when the doors of foreign trade were opened following China’s WTO accession. With its established connections and reputation throughout Asia and the World, EEDC was able to successfully shift markets. Initially, a Shenzhen based company; EEDC has enjoyed continual growth by extending its range of foreign brands and offering its services to the major cities and regions in China. To date, EEDC has developed a wide range of foreign wine and spirits in key Chinese markets as seen by its current brand portfolio. Notably, EEDC become one of the world’s top distributors of Remy Martin's Louis XIII.
